Welcoming you back to the theatre safely at The Yvonne Arnaud
We welcome the Prime Minister’s announcement that restrictions will be lifted on Monday 19th July, with cautious optimism.
The response to the theatre reopening has been overwhelmingly positive from our audiences, with many telling us how reassured they were by their experience and how safe and comfortable they felt in the theatre. As we increase capacity, we want to ensure that this positive audience sentiment remains.
During the summer, for your safety and reassurance, our staff will continue to wear masks and all staff, backstage and front of house, will continue to test themselves twice a week. We urge you to consider others and unless exempt, respect us and your fellow audience members by continuing to wear a mask in the auditorium and as you move around the building.
We will continue to have a one way system in place for the remainder of the summer and ask that you continue to consider your proximity to others while in our public spaces; we would also remind you to take care over handwashing.
All performances after Monday 19th July have now been returned to full capacity, even if they were originally sold as socially distanced performances. If you would prefer not to be too close to other visitors, please contact the box office and we will do our best to recommend a performance or seats which may offer more space.
You will no longer be required to undergo a temperature check or check-in via the NHS Test and Trace app.
We will continue to review our Covid Safety measures in line with advice from our industry body.
We ask that, whatever your views on social distancing and mask wearing, you respect everyone in the theatre and their choices.
Thank you for your understanding and support over the last 18 months, we look forward to welcoming you back to the theatre over the summer.
The Yvonne Arnaud Team.
