The Mayor of Guildford, Cllr Richard Billington says:
“I am delighted to be taking part in the flag-raising ceremony. It is an important gesture that shows our appreciation for the contributions the Armed Forces have made for us. The people of Guildford are very proud of our Armed Forces with many regimental families and veterans living within the county of Surrey. Guildford will continue to raise awareness for the pivotal role of our Armed Forces.”
