Students at ACM Guildford and Clapham launch their student run record label – Metropolis Blue, Monday 4th March.
Set to take place at the infamous Boileroom, Guildford with 6 student acts playing back to back showcasing the finest talent from the campus. All while fighting to land a recording deal with this new student initiative, Metropolis Blue.
The confirmed line up includes Luna – an edgy hip hop artist bringing together sounds from her swedish roots with a classic hip hop sound, Long Day Late Night – an energetic indie-rock band set to follow the likes of The Amazon’s, BRUCH – purveyor of curious electronic sounds all wrapped into a tiny artistic explosion, Gwilym – a welsh indie enigma currently taking Wales by storm, Bethany Davy – Dartford born singer-songwriter seamlessly fusing pop and dubstep together, and lastly LJK – an indie powerhouse with powerful melodies and vocals.
Doors open at 7pm and admission is free. The first lucky 50 people through the door will receive a free pair of Monster headphones.
